We are seeking a Service Writer & Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive repair, strong customer service skills, and the ability to sell services.
Duties:
-Greet customers, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately record their service requests.
-Answer phone calls and monitor online messages.
- Write accurate service orders based on customer requests and vehicle issues.
- Communicate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs.
-Operate Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash transactions with precision and integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
Skills:
- Prior experience in automotive repair or dealership environment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to work collaboratively with mechanics and other team members.
-Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
-Mitchell 1 software knowledge is a plus
-Proficiency with office management software (e.g., Microsoft 365) and familiarity with phone systems and office equipment like printers and scanners i.e. file documents, photocopy, and scan paperwork
Wage dependent on experience and skills, starting at $20.00 per hour
