Part-time Teaching Positions

The successful candidate will be teaching in classroom, online or in field setting in the Early Childhood Education Program.
Responsibilities
Use effective interpersonal communication skills with students, faculty, management, colleagues from other colleges and universities, community members and other professionals in internal and external educational and practice settings
Provide and promote a respectful and supportive environment based on the principles of inclusion, equity and diversity
Work effectively in a team-based work environment, including inter-professional teams
Create and engage students to maintain a positive teaching and learning environment
Use a variety of appropriate and evidence-based teaching/learning strategies
Incorporate academic technology effectively to enhance and support student learning
Evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes using a variety of academic assessment strategies and approaches and provide regular feedback
Provide academic support to students, in-person or through electronic communication
Attends meetings, maintains records of student grades/assessments, and participates in meetings and activities pertinent to faculty responsibilities
Qualifications
Diploma in Early Childhood Education, with a minimum Bachelors Degree in a related field. Masters Degree in Childhood Studies or Education preferred
Minimum of 5 years working in the Early Childhood Education field
Commitment to student success, and strategies for supporting at-risk students
Ability to monitor and respond to emails and phone calls within a timely manner (48-hour response)
Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse students, staff and college community.
Teaching/Training experience in a post-secondary/adult education learning environment preferred
