Job Summary
We are looking for a Level 2 NOC Analyst (Wed - Sun from 4 pm - 12 am) with 3 to 5 years of related working experience. He or she will be responsible for supporting the IT department with maintaining the company’s existing IT infrastructure as well as supporting our external clients through our Network Operating Center (NOC).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as initial point of contact and respond to client support requests (primarily via phone and email).
- Proactively monitor managed client networks and end point devices.
- Perform intermediate-to-advanced IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) services: hardware rollouts, refreshes, and other hardware deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, etc.
- Provide 1st/2nd level Help Desk support and basic Level 3 support.
- Maintain and support company’s existing IT network infrastructure & phone system.
- Maintain cloud environment by identifying system requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring system performance.
- Administer windows servers, clients, AD, Office365, Applications, Phone systems & cloud services.
- Provide Technical assistance remotely/in-person to our end users and technicians whenever required.
- Maintain system capability by staging & testing hardware and software.
- Provide advice and assist in making recommendations for new hardware/software tools.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting skills and assistance to end users, liaise with application vendors support when necessary.
- Create & update documentation of knowledge base, standard processes and procedures.
- Working in the days and nights occasionally, when required.
- Schedule and maintain digital advertising on all client digital displays.
- Assist with hardware and software setup for client installation.
- Assist remotely onsite techs with support and configuration.
- Perform firmware updates on client devices.
- Create, manage and update clients facing tickets.
Skills and Experience:
- College or university degree in a related field (including computer networking, technical support) and/or 3-5 years of related work experience.
- MCP, MCSE, CompTIA certified.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and MS Office Suites.
- Good understanding of Mac OSX (Configuration, administration and troubleshooting).
- Practical knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, patching with switches telecommunication operations, troubleshooting of equipment.
- Understand basic internet and client/server architectures.
- Experience with Cloud services is an asset (Azure Cloud and AWS).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid customer service skills with experience interfacing with all levels of stakeholders.
- Experience with different CMS systems and layouts is an asset.
