Project Manager - HVAC

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong HVAC industry experience to lead and deliver complex technical projects from start to finish.
This is a hands-on role focused on ownership, accountability, and results delivery across multiple concurrent HVAC-related projects.
You will work closely with sales, customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with commercial and operational goals.
This role requires strong judgment, proactive communication, and the ability to manage complexity while maintaining a high level of customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

Manage HVAC projects from initiation through completion
Ensure scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
Maintain strong project documentation and reporting

Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
Act as the primary point of contact for project communication
Maintain strong professional relationships across all stakeholders

Sales & Bid Support

Collaborate with the sales team on project opportunities
Evaluate bid opportunities based on risk, scope, and commercial viability
Support revenue targets and project alignment

Execution & Delivery

Monitor project progress, costs, risks, and schedule adherence
Proactively identify issues and implement corrective actions
Ensure smooth coordination across all project stakeholders

Negotiation & Problem Solving

Handle customer and vendor discussions professionally
Manage conflicts and resolve project challenges effectively
Maintain balance between customer needs and business outcomes

Reporting & Communication

Provide clear project updates and status reports
Participate in weekly internal project meetings
Ensure transparency in decisions, risks, and next steps

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of HVAC industry experience
Proven experience managing technical projects end-to-end
Strong understanding of project timelines, risks, and execution planning
Experience working with sales teams and supporting bid evaluations
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Must have access to a reliable vehicle
Ability to commute to Surrey, BC (until Sept 2026), then Richmond, BC
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
