Main point of contact for benefits, pension and other related queries for our active, retirees, and HR Administrators.
Update and provide appropriate material to inform and update employees about their benefits and pension.
Conduct company benefits and pension orientation for new salaried employees.
Coordinate the retirement process, RSEA plan enrolments and changes.
Maintain retiree benefit information, including notifying carriers/vendors as required
Prepare pension, trust and benefit related invoices for authorization and payment
Maintain Catalyst Benefit Centre’s data integrity by ensuring accurate and complete data is input as required and on a timely basis. Extract reports as needed.
Complete periodic reconciliations between third party administrator’s data and Catalyst Paper’s various sources of data.
Develop and maintain a working relationship with Catalyst Paper’s third party administrators, payroll department and mill administration staff.

2+ years of experience in benefits administration
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong customer service focus
Good verbal and written communications skills with the ability to converse with a diverse population
Demonstrated ability to organize and analyze benefits data, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
A self-starter and dedicated team player
