Position: (3) Transformation Office Workstream Director
FTE: Temporary, Full-Time

Start Date/Term Length: Commencing Immediatley Until July 2025
About The Position:
We are seeking individuals to play a critical role in our Health PEI transformation as dedicated Workstream Directors. These are highly visible leadership positions that will be responsible for driving one of our critical workstreams. The Workstream Directors will be responsible to provide end-to-end leadership, planning, execution, and delivery for an assigned transformation workstream. They will work with a team to develop detailed plans, manage dependencies, identify/mitigate risks, and have overall accountability to ensure workstream goals are progressing rapidly within agreed upon timeframes. Workstream Directors will report into and be part of the Health PEI Transformation Office and have access to third party supports with expertise in driving health system transformation.
Duties:
- Provide leadership, direction and oversight for an assigned workstream within the health system transformation under the direction of a senior executive/sponsor.
- Develop and manage overall workstream charter and plan, highlighting milestones, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Identify issues and roadblocks (e.g., resourcing needs, conflicts) to progress; resolve and/or escalate issues to sponsors as necessary.
- Integrate enablers (e.g., communications, equity, digital, sustainability) into project delivery.
- Conduct analysis and complete reporting on workstream progress, outcomes, risks, etc., to inform decision-making.
- Provide expertise and advice on assigned workstream to sponsor, transformation office and team.
- Oversee and/or coordinate a cross-functional team spanning internal staff, external consultants, other workstream directors, and key business stakeholders/subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure overall program alignment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Health or Social Sciences. • Demonstrated equivalencies will be considered
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior management position, preferably in a related field; and
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in the areas of project management, implementation, and evaluation processes. • Ability to influence across the transformation and drive teams to achieve results.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in the following areas: project management, change management, program design; development, implementation, and evaluation processes; performance monitoring and reporting.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Excellent skills in areas of facilitation, team building, organizational and time management, conflict resolution, and written and oral communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with an ability to plan and think strategically.
- Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional teams and develop positive working relationships with external and internal individuals and groups.
- Ability to work independently and as a group;
- Ability to work and manage work across remote settings;
- Proficient in applicable computer programs; and
- Good previous work/attendance record, and an acceptable criminal records check.
Other Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred;
- Experience in healthcare settings, including extensive experience in implementation of new processes, systems, technologies, or other projects within a healthcare environment.

Pay: $44.82-$56.00 per hour
