About the Role
As a Business Development Supervisor, you will play a key role in driving our sales efforts. The primary focus of your role (80%) will be engaging with potential clients, identifying new opportunities, and scheduling meetings to grow our customer base. The remaining 20% of your responsibilities will involve leading and coaching our sales team, helping them achieve their targets and develop professionally. This is an in-office role where you will be an essential part of a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through phone, email, and in-person communication.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and schedule appointments to drive sales growth.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the sales team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance performance.
- Track and manage client interactions using our CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with broader business objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven ability to make impactful calls and schedule high-quality appointments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- A natural leader with a passion for coaching and helping others succeed.
- Results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in power generation or a related field is an asset but not required.
