Associate Account Executive - Construction & Infrastructure
(Fixed-Term: One Year contract)

What the day will look like

Issue bid bonds, letters of intent, letters of prequalification, final bonds, endorsements, etc.

Assist account managers and their associates.

Review and verify bonds.

Negotiate with sureties regarding additional premiums and credits.

Read and analyze specifications.

Draft correspondence, reports, and memos.

Open new files (new clients and/or renewals).

Handle invoicing.
-
Prepare letters, presentations, and bonding summaries for clients.

Maintain and update client data.
-
Print various documents.
-
Follow up on project progress reports.

Send correspondence to insurers.
-
Follow up on outstanding documents.

Monitor renewal lists.

Participate in weekly meetings of the surety department.

Perform any other related duties.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in commercial property and casualty insurance;

AMF Commercial Lines license or desire to obtain one;

French / English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;

Demonstrated outstanding customer service;

Proficiency in MS Office software.

DEC in a relevant field or equivalent years of work experience, in a relevant industry
