Position: Entertainment Operations Manager

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday. (Sunday and Monday off) **This could be flexible for the right candidate.

Musos is a leading live music and DJ booking agency, based in Vancouver, BC. We provide exceptional Live Musicians and DJ's for weddings, special events and manage entertainment scheduling for a collection of resorts, hotels, restaurants, breweries and municipalities. We pride ourselves on our friendly and collaborative team environment. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as our Entertainment Operations Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
Musos Entertainment is seeking a friendly, highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent oral and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in event or wedding planning, hotels, or hospitality in a management position, experience in sales, administration, and customer service. You must be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of juggling multiple priorities. The ability to remain calm under pressure is essential. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a dynamic, growing business environment where every day is different. You will be managing the day to day operations of the business.
Role Key Responsibilities:
- In-bound Sales: Manage, respond to and oversee all inquiries received through the company's website, socials and email accounts. Our Entertainment Operations Manager will ensure prompt and effective communication with potential clients, customers, or partners.
- Tracking All Inquiries: Track all booking inquiries and report an overview to directors on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Client Liaison: Serve as a main point of contact for clients. Collaborate with event organizers and venues to develop and execute event timelines, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to deadlines.
- Booking Venues: Coordinate and complete the live music schedule for Musos Entertainment venues, passing it to management for review and making necessary adjustments.
- Artist Liaison: Serve as a main point of contact for artists regarding their booking details. Handle artist cancellations, including finding suitable replacements and being on-call for cancellations on weekends.
Requirements:
- Experience in event or wedding planning and/or hotels hospitality at a management level .
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Motivated and setup to work from home productivity.
- Occasional availability for in-person events on weekends or weekdays in Vancouver, BC.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual salary of $45 - 65k per year, paid bi-weekly.
- Expected 40 hours per week. Preferably from Tuesday to Saturday
- Flexibility to work late evenings and early mornings as required outside of core hours.
