Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will support and work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager on various operations projects including but not limited to purchasing, inventory management, shipping and receiving. The incumbent will also participate in adhoc projects as they come up.
Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Responsible for reviewing, entering and releasing purchase orders.
Daily follow-ups on released orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure all the purchasing & receiving documents are uploaded in the company’s ERP system.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
Communicate with shipping and freight forwarding companies to ensure on-time submission of shipping and customs documents.
Coordinate with internal QA staff to ensure all release documents are verified and signed prior to releasing any shipments.
Work with shipping companies to resolve any duties and invoicing claims.
Assist accounting department with vendor invoices and credit notes.
Perform inventory cycle count, update inventory and perform inventory adjustments using the ERP system.
Ensure proper protocols are followed for inventory withdrawals, deposits, transfer, scrap as per the defined guidelines.
Support Manager, Supply Chain to improve operations and participate in ad-hoc projects as they come up.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements
ERP/ MRP experience.
Inventory management experience.
Supply Chain knowledge preferred.
MS office experience (Excel, Word and Outlook).
Experience in freight forwarding and customs documents management.
Ability to multi-task to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of ISO 13475 is considered a very strong asset.
Results driven.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Bilingual (French and English)
