SUPPLY TEACHERS
St. Clement’s School is currently seeking Supply Teachers to support our Junior, Middle, and Senior Schools in a variety of academic areas. The Supply Teacher will work collaboratively with other Teachers and is responsible for the supervision and guidance of activities in the classroom.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Following the lesson plans provided, the Supply Teacher:
Ensures students are productive and achieve the goals of the lesson;
Initiates and leads classroom activities and discussions;
Supports, supervises, and assesses student progress, as appropriate;
Oversees students outside of the classroom, including in hallways between class and outdoors at recess;
Uses technology to enhance learning in the classroom;
Accompanies classes on field trips and participates in co-curricular activities, as assigned; and
Other duties as assigned.
ATTRIBUTES OF OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Ontario Teacher Qualifications;
Certificate of Qualification and Registration with the OCT;
Excellent classroom management, instructional, and organizational skills;
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to handle confidential material and situations with discretion and sensitivity; and
Clear criminal record check is required as a condition of employment.

A daily rate or $250 (or $125 for a half day);
Participation in the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan (OTPP);
A 50% reimbursement for TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) fare or 50% reimbursement for parking expenses at local parking lots;
