Job description – Quality Assurance Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality department for a full-time role. Working with the Production, Engineering, and Technical teams, your role as a Quality Specialist ensures the printed circuit board products meet and exceed the customers’ expectations for quality and consistency.
What You Will Do
· Conduct visual inspection, testing, dimensional measurements, First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process sub-assemblies, and finished good quality checks
· Use optical and digital microscopes
· Operate electronic test instruments and systems
· Collect and analyze quality data
· Perform quality audits to support the ISO9001 quality system
· Maintain the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process
· Maintain the Preventive and Corrective Action Report (PCAR) process
· Maintain the Return to Manufacturer Authorization (RMA) process
· Drive continuous improvement
· Support 5S and lean initiatives
What You Will Need
· 3 or more years of experience in a quality assurance
· Post-secondary diploma in electronics, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· Strong commitment to quality and a keen eye for detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in clear English
· Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments
· A strong work ethic, with a focus on continuous improvement
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Punctual and dependable
· Familiarity with IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610
· Experienced working with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485 (medical devices)
· Experience with precision measuring tools
· Famiilar with lean methodology and doing root-cause analysis

Compensation
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Benefits: Extended health and dental care
Schedule:
7:30 to 16:00
Monday to Friday
Evenings and weekends as needed
In-person
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
