The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations within our manufacturing facility. This role leads a team of shipper/receiver, coordinates inbound and outbound logistics, maintains inventory accuracy, and enforces safety and quality standards. Supervise, coach, and mentor warehouse associates to build a positive, high-performing team environment

Conduct performance reviews, provide continuous feedback, and actively support individual development and career growth

Coordinate daily work assignments, staffing schedules, and task prioritization to meet operational goals

Lead onboarding and training of new hires on procedures, equipment, and safety protocols

Oversee all inbound and outbound activity including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping

Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, audits, and proper documentation

Coordinate with the production floor to ensure timely delivery of materials and components

Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflows to maximize efficiency

Manage material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and coordinate preventive maintenance

Production order material consumption using ERP system

Enforce all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies

Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions

Ensure compliance with OSHA/OHS standards, environmental regulations, and internal SOPs

Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures

Monitor shipment and inventory accuracy to minimize errors, damage, and shrinkage

Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, lean, Kaizen)

Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, and logistics teams

Prepare and present operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to management

3–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite

Valid forklift and overhead crane certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods

Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field

Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies

Experience with ERP or inventory management systems

WHMIS or equivalent hazardous materials certification
