MEXIKAN is a brand-new Mexican Grill & Cocktail Bar opening in Southwest Edmonton. We are looking for energetic, friendly, and outgoing team members who enjoy providing exceptional customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Recommend menu items, cocktails, beer, tequila, and margaritas.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (bartending shifts).
- Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service.
- Process payments using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining room, and bar area.
- Restock bar and service stations.
- Follow Alberta liquor regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Work closely with the kitchen and other team members.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant.
Requirements
- Previous serving or bartending experience preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate).
- Valid Alberta ProServe Certification (required before starting).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to carry food trays and stand for extended periods.
- Team player with a professional appearance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Bartending experience.
- Knowledge of tequila, margaritas, cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Experience with POS systems such as Square is an asset.
- Experience in Mexican or Latin restaurants is an asset.
