Our team of health professionals includes employees, doctors, researchers, learners and volunteers that provide the health care or services you may need. This is accomplished across four geographic management zones which are responsible for the operation of acute care health centres and the provision of a variety of inpatient, outpatient services including academic, tertiary, quaternary care and community based programs and services including continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.
Reporting to the Health Services Manager the Clerk provides support within the centralized staffing office. Utilizing the Kronos system the Clerk will answer telephone and complete call outs for immediate and future staffing needs; contact the external agency for replacement staff; book patient attendants/sitters for units when required; perform data entry and filing; adhere to collective agreements.
- Grade XII plus one year related experience performing data entry, customer service, time management, organizing, and multitasking OR graduate of a recognized one year
- Good working knowledge of windows, word, spreadsheets, and database programs required
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility in meeting workload demands
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of office equipment e.g. fax, telephone, copier
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Successful applicants are required to provide a criminal record check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) to People Services before starting employment and assume any associated costs as a condition of employment

Hours of Work
Long Assignment, Full-time position; 70 hours bi-weekly
Beginning March 14, 2021 with a duration of March 14, 2022
Dates are approximate and subject to change
Shifts include days, evenings, and weekends
Office hours are 5:00am - 8:30pm 7 days per week including holidays
$20.0923 - $21.9129 hourly
