Kennel & Daycare Attendant – Animal Lover Wanted!
Are you passionate about animals and looking for a physically active, rewarding job? We’re looking for a motivated, hard-working, and animal-loving individual to join our team at our busy Boarding and Daycare Facility!
About the Role:
As a Kennel/Daycare Attendant, your primary responsibility is the safety, well-being, and happiness of the dogs in our care. We need someone versatile, attentive, and reliable who can provide excellent animal care and work well both independently and in a team.
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 20–30 hours/week
Availability: Open availability required – WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS ARE MANDATORY
Shifts can range anytime between 6 AM and 9 PM, Monday–Sunday
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Team player with a positive attitude
✅ Self-starter who can work independently after training
✅ Fast learner & coachable
✅ Comfortable with all sizes and temperaments of dogs
✅ Strong multitasker
✅ Physically capable – lift 50+ lbs, walk long distances, be on your feet for hours
✅ Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✅ Previous animal care experience is required
Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Grouping and rotating dogs for safe play and socialization
- Cleaning kennels, scooping poop, mopping accidents
- Feeding & administering medications
- Supervising daycare groups and preventing altercations
- Bathing, nail trimming, brushing
- Pressure washing and cleaning play areas
- Washing and sanitizing dishes
-General facility cleaning tasks
