Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate in the area of Scanning and Quality Assurance to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately scanning products, verifying inventory, and ensuring each item is thoroughly checked for quality and condition, this position does include repetitive movements and heavy lifting. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Scan and track inventory using handheld barcode scanners
- Verify product accuracy, quantities, and labeling
- Inspect items for damage, defects, or discrepancies
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Report and document inventory or quality issues
- Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems
- Assist with picking, packing, and sorting orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 kg
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting required throughout the shift
