Overview
We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Licensed 310B Auto Body Technician to join our reputable dealership team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for technicians with a passion for automotive repair and bodywork to apply their expertise in a professional environment. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing using industry-standard techniques
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately
- Conduct vehicle assessments to determine repair needs and prepare detailed work estimates
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and dealership quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Assist with vehicle inspections and perform minor mechanical repairs as needed
Skills
- Proven dealership experience as an auto body technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques required for bodywork tasks
- Experience with automotive repair processes including dent removal, panel alignment, sanding, priming, and painting
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair instructions accurately
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Valid license as a 310B Auto Body Technician or equivalent certification is required
