Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the hotel's services and amenities
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
