Maple Villa Long Term Care Centre is now looking for a casual, part-time Housekeeping Aide. Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and evening shifts.
Previous experience cleaning in long term care is an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strict adherence to infection control best practices for cleaning and disinfecting.
- Clean and service assigned rooms and areas according to established standards and procedures including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash and this position includes floor care duties.
- Follow all safety and security procedures and regulations while performing daily duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned or directed by management (laundry, public areas, etc.)
Required Skills
- Minimum one (1) years’ experience in housekeeping department.
- Proven cleaning ability with full attention to details
- Approachable, pleasant, polite, fast
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products an asset
- Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision
Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be available weekends and evening shifts
- Ability to work as a member of the team
- Strong customer service experience
- Able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and Two Step TB test within 6 months
