Business Development Manager
Territory: Manitoba & Saskatchewan Location: Winnipeg, MB (Preferred)
About the Opportunity :
Our client is looking for an energetic and relationship-focused Business Development Representative to drive growth across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys networking, developing stratetic partnership and identifying new business opportunities with the commercial construction industry.
In this role , you will work closely with architects, designers, developers , contractors, building owners, and end users to promote innovative building solutions while creating long-term business relationships. You will be responsible for expanding market presence, geerating new opportunities, and collaborating with the sales team to suppprt from concept throught completion.
What You Will Do:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout Manitoba and Sakskatchewan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships, with architects, designers, developers , buildign owners, facility managers and other industry professionals.
- Strengthen existing customer relationships while expanidng the client portfolio
- Generate project leads and help build a strong pipeline of future busness opportunities
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and educational sessions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support project specifications and customer requirements
- Monitor industry trends, market activity , and upcoming construction projects.
- Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, sales activities and project updates.
- Attend networking events, industry associations, trade shows, and professional development opportunities
- Prepare regular activity reports , sales forecasts and territory updates
- Represent the organization with professionalis while delivering exceptional customer service
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development , account management, outside sales, or commercial construction sales
- Experience working with archtects, consultants , contractors, or commercial building professionals is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent relationship - building and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently
- Strong negotiation, presentation and problem solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, training or industry events
Preferrred Experience
- Knowledge of the commercial construction market, including healthcare, education, institutional , industrial , and multi-residental sectors
- Experience promoting architectural, construction , or commercial builidng products
- Understanding of project specifications, construction processes, and consultative selling.
- Professional certifications related to construction or architectural products are considred as an asset
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
