We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crown Reach & Counterbalance Operator to join our client's warehouse team. This role involves operating specialized equipment to efficiently handle, store, and organize inventory within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience with warehouse management systems, and the ability to perform heavy lifting while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
Shift: Monday to Friday from 7am-3:30pm -- training is done Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Operate Crown reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and clamp trucks to move, stack, and retrieve pallets and materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform order picking and order fulfillment accurately using warehouse management systems
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs
- Assist with inventory control by organizing stock locations and maintaining accurate records
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order processing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating Crown Reach and Counterbalance
- Must have a valid forklift licence
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with warehouse machinery is a plus
- Experience with warehouse management systems or order picking processes is advantageous
- Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols in a warehouse setting
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving throughout the warehouse environment
- Basic understanding of warehouse distribution operations and logistics principles
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork
Pay: $21.00 per hour
