Crown Pipeline Ltd. is seeking a Hydrovac Operator for projects around the Winnipeg area. The successful candidate will either have experience operating a hydrovac truck and be comfortable operating two brand new hydrovac trucks OR be an experienced class 3 driver who is interested in learning how to operate a hydrovac.
Note: The successful candidate, whether a Hydrovac Operator or Class 3 driver willing to learn, will be offered pay at a Hydrovac Operator rate.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 with air endorsement
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Familiar with safe work procedures and practices to safely operate the Hydrovac or willingness to learn
- Must demonstrate ability to maneuver truck in tight spaces
- Willing to do labour work and other tasks as needed on short notice
- Able to adapt to a change in a fast paced environment
Specific Skills:
- Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation
- Ensure all Hydrovac truck equipment and components are in good working condition at all times
- Perform pre and post trip inspections
- Follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance
- Perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly
- Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, slot trenching, and soft digging
