Front Office & Sales Coordinator ANS Scrap Metals – Kingston, ON
ANS is looking for a motivated, organized, and positive individual to join our growing team as a Front Office & Sales Coordinator.
This position is much more than answering phones and handling paperwork. We are looking for someone who can help keep the operation running smoothly, build strong customer relationships, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and become an important part of the growth of our business.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, personable, and able to take initiative without constant supervision.
Responsibilities
- Running the front scale office
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Answering phones and handling customer inquiries
- Organizing paperwork, scale tickets, and daily office flow
- Scheduling and coordinating loads/customers
- Assisting with invoicing and administrative tasks
- Maintaining a clean and professional office environment
- Building strong customer relationships
- Assisting with sales and helping grow the business
- Problem solving and handling issues professionally
- Communicating with drivers, customers, and staff throughout the day
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong people skills
- Organized and dependable
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
- Customer service or sales experience is considered an asset
- Experience in trucking, agriculture, construction, recycling, or industrial environments is an asset but not required
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays as required
Compensation
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Expected range: $28–$32 per hour
