Experienced Baker – Full-Time Seasonal Position
The Bread Box Bakery is looking for an experienced baker to join our team for the summer season!
This is a full-time seasonal position running until approximately October, with the possibility of continuing on for the right person.
Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday
Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Position Type: Full-time, seasonal $18/hour
We’re a busy bakery, and we’re looking for someone who can jump in, work hard, stay organized, and take pride in what they’re making. This position is best suited for someone who already has solid commercial baking experience and understands the pace, expectations, and teamwork required in a bakery environment.
What You’ll Be Helping Make
You may be involved in making a variety of feom scratch bakery items, including:
●* Pies *
●* Cinnamon buns*
●* Buns*
●* Sourdough breads*
●* Cookies*
●* Squares, bars, and other confections*
●* Seasonal bakery items*
●* Other scratch-made products*
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
●* Experienced in a commercial bakery setting*
●* Reliable, punctual, and dependable*
●* A hard worker with a positive attitude*
●* Clean, organized, and able to maintain a tidy workspace throughout the day*
●* Able to work well as part of a team, but also confidently on their own*
●* Great with time management*
●* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment*
●* Able to follow recipes and maintain consistency*
●* Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly of different bakery ingredients as needed*
Experience Required
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of commercial baking experience.
Experience with pies, cinnamon buns, sourdough breads, steam injected ovens cookies, and confections is essential
