Gator Construction Group Inc, a fast-growing general contracting company specializing in concrete infrastructure replacement, restoration and ultra-high-performance coating protection, is seeking a Superintendent to join their team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate should know about construction site management, be able to read drawings and have at least two years of commercial, institutional, industrial concrete or construction experience. Concrete restoration experience is a bonus. Strong ties to local sub-trades is an asset.
As a Gator Superintendent, your duties will include but are not limited to supervising the work site and employees, assisting with site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, project scheduling, field cost control, and safety. You will also be responsible for deciding on the method of construction, materials quantities, equipment, work schedule, and documentation of hours worked.
Other responsibilities include ensuring that daily operations comply with the company's objectives through the adequate supervision of hourly production and maintenance employees, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company policies and procedures, participating in preconstruction services, maintaining relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning, and having complete knowledge of forming, placing, and finishing concrete.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills and be proficient in Microsoft Suite, SharePoint and plan reading software. Also, you must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation, as some travel in Alberta may be required.

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
