Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of menu items with precision and care, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing friendly assistance and answering menu-related questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including safe storage, portioning, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately to ensure authentic flavors and presentation
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as meal preparation, plating, and customer service
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or kitchen environments with a focus on food handling and meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper sanitation practices, and safe food handling procedures
- Strong serving skills with a friendly attitude that promotes positive guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with cooking techniques across various cuisines is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly preferred
