Job Title: Seasonal Potato Inspector
Position Type: Harvest Inspector – Start Date ASAP until approximately the end of October.
Reports to: Facility Manager/Lead
Location: Carberry
Pay: $20.40 - $23.40 per hour
Qualification Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation (all shifts)
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position; lift 50 pounds, perform manual labour
- Ability to work within a team setting or alone.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to follow the company's Safety Policies
- Follow written procedures
- Motivated individual who is detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Accurately calculate averages and percentages.
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work safely in noisy, dusty conditions
- Ability to record data and have good written and oral communication.
- Work with repetitive tasks and work under pressure
- Must be open to continued learning
- Work shift work (12-hour shifts - days, swing shift, nights, weekends, holidays)
