Motive Power - Automotive Technologist, in cooperation with program coordinators will plan, organize, supervise and maintain lab facilities within the School of Engineering Technology. The incumbent will also be responsible for:

Supporting faculty in the design, modification and delivery of the academic curriculum

The installation maintenance of laboratory equipment and overall safeguarding of laboratory assets

Plan, organize, and conduct demonstrations to support the practical application of previously taught theory and student learning requirements.

Assist in student evaluations in relation to learning activities.

Maintaining lab organization and cleanliness.

Provides technical expertise of a specialized nature to faculty and students, using independent judgement, to determine services and methods required to meet users' needs. Proving assistance and direction to students in the lab while controlling and overseeing students conducting academic activities.

Control supply inventory and monitor budget in conjunction with the supervisor.

Evaluate equipment and other resources and make recommendations on purchase or repair.
