EXPERIENCED EXCAVATOR OPERATOR – GRADING CREW
Central City Asphalt Ltd. is a locally owned road & street construction and paving contractor, which incorporated in 1987. We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.
This is a temporary position which is expected to begin in late June (weather permitting) and will last approximately 7 weeks. No out-of-town work is required. Crew members will report to and travel from the Blackfalds/Red Deer area daily.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Must be able to cut and maintain grade on roadways, ditches, backslopes, and other road construction surfaces.
- Must have experience with culvert installation and loading borrow.
- Must be able to perform daily equipment inspections and routine greasing/maintenance on excavators.
- Must be able to operate a variety of excavators quickly, safely and efficiently.
- Minimum clean class 5 license with reliable transportation required.
- Must be available to work up to 24 days at a time (work schedule will vary based on location of work, weather and time of year).
