Reporting to the QA Manager, this position supports our quality control functions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection processes. You will play a vital role in maintaining quality control throughout the manufacturing process, collaborating with various departments to enhance product quality and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of incoming materials and acceptance of materials to written procedures and relevant Codes.
- Physical inspections of pressure equipment to Engineered drawings and specifications. Entry into vessels required through openings of 16" diameter and larger.
- Inspection of welds and assembled joints to Code requirements.
- Provide assistance and interact with client and jurisdictional inspectors in the course of their inspections.
- Record and maintain travel sheets and checklists in accordance with the QMS.
- Review and log NDE reports and results.
- Schedule, coordinate, or perform NDE as required by the design.
- Complete final inspections and associated documentation prior to inspection release.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Proficient in MS Office suite, Outlook
- Working knowledge with ASME Codes and Alberta Regulations
- NDE experience considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in with pressure equipment manufacturing (vessels, piping, fittings) and QA documentation and protocols as they pertain to pressure equipment in Alberta. Prior experience must include inspection and manufacturing of ASME Section VIII Div. 1 Pressure Vessels and/or ASME B31.3 Process Piping. Experience with CSA W59 and 47.1 an asset.
