Overview
Glacier Glass Service is looking for an Install Partner to join our residential department. We specialize in commercial repairs/replacements, residential window and door repair/replacement, auto glass, flat glass, etc... The ideal candidate would be on a crew with a qualified lead hand during the day and need to be willing to travel in southern Saskatchewan. Most work will be done on site but at times you may need to bring products back to the shop to be repaired. This is a friendly, fast paced environment and never a dull day. - training can be provided for the right candidate
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift heavy objects
- knowledge of power tools, including table saw and skil saw
- must have own hand tools
- excellent communication skills required
- willingness to work overtime if required
Responsibilities
- Help install products according to specifications and company standards.
- Conduct site assessments with lead hand to determine installation requirements.
- Aid in troubleshooting and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns during the installation process.
Requirements
- Previous experience in installation or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
- Valid driver's license may be required based on job location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
