Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team in Canada. Based in our clinic, this role is vital in supporting physiotherapists and contributing to patient recovery. Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment plans.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records for all patients.
- Educate patients on exercises and recovery protocols.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces.
- Support administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Follow safety protocols and uphold hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience or training as a Physiotherapy Assistant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate attitude towards patients.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Certification or diploma in physiotherapy assistance is preferred.
