This mid-level, full-time position is onsite at our Edmonton office. In this role, you’ll work closely with industry experts to prepare credit submissions, coordinate client approvals, and ensure seamless client experiences. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain valuable market insights, build meaningful client relationships, and develop the skills to grow into a successful sales professional.

Individual Key Contributions/Responsibilities:
- Provide support to our outside sales team as required.
- Prepare credit submissions by collecting the necessary information (credit application, financial statements, business overview, equipment valuations) and compiling into a coherent, organized package for review with our credit department.
- Liaise with clients to ensure all the proper documentation and requirements are in place to design an appropriate financing solution for their individual business situation.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Essex, our unique solutions, and how they can be leveraged by our clients to facilitate their business plans.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the types of equipment Essex typically finances, their applications and the industries they operate in.
- Address client concerns and ensure resolution of issues in a timely manner, with follow-up as appropriate.
- Deliver ongoing market intelligence and assessment of competitors through conversations with our clients, then report those findings to the Essex Executive Team.
- Once suitable knowledge and expertise is attained on Essex and our industry, you will have the opportunity to prospect for new business, preparing all documentation required to secure a client’s interests.
- Along with your manager, you will develop and implement a sales strategy to optimize prospecting efforts.
- Provide exceptional call reporting to your manager weekly by keeping an organized, updated report to track and organize the progress of your leads.

- Demonstrate a high attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Bring a creative marketing approach to developing new business opportunities.
- Have a keen interest in finance and how financing tools can be leveraged to aid a business.
Required Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Business, Marketing, Finance, or Commerce, is an asset but not required.
- 2-3 years experience in the Financial/Leasing Industry would be considered an asset.
- Competent in use of Excel, Word, Power Point
