Bally's Interactive is seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Business Partner, to align our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs. The HR Business Partner provides confidential support, direction and innovation in all areas of Human Resources. Contributing towards a positive work environment the incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring Bally's Interactive attracts, retains, develops and manages the best talent aligned to its core values.
Duties for the HRBP, will include aligning staff to business objectives, recruiting the right talent, enhancing staff performance, supporting employee development, enhancing recruitment efforts, planning strategic HR initiatives, running orientation and onboarding processes, communicating role expectations, designing succession plans, maintaining staff relations, maintaining gaming licensing requirements and updating policies and practices. Your experience in human resources management will aid our organization in adding value to overall business objectives, providing HR solutions, resolving personnel grievances, retaining a talented workforce, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a good understanding of business functions, good communication skills, good interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and good organizational skills. The noteworthy HRBP, should improve HR initiatives, enhance staff morale, enhance relations between staff and employers, contribute to attaining business goals, promote good HR practices, and attract talented recruits.
Locations: We are open for the candidate to be in Providence, RI, Las Vegas, NV, and Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
Day In the Life:
Assists in the development, deployment and maintenance of HR programs and initiatives
Acts as subject-matter expert in the areas of employment law, human rights and employee/employer compliance
Contributes to the culture of Bally's Interactive, working closely with an active social committee to ensure the organization continues to be a great place to work
Supports and coaches managers in contemporary best practices in human resources including employee and peer review systems, career management, reward and recognition systems, training and development etc.
Oversee the Talent Acquisition team to ensure staffing plans and recruitment schedules are up to date; Evaluate staffing needs and oversee recruitment efforts
Provide guidance and coaching to managers to effectively deal with all employee related initiatives from point of entry to point of exit
Engage with heads of departments and provide coaching to managers and executives
Provide suggestions on company policies including employee handbook, disciplinary procedures, work-from-home policy, code of conduct, travel and expense policy.
Tracking compliance for employee gaming registration and training.
Producing reports for regulatory submission.
Investigate employee complaints; provide employee support.
Implement activities to increase employee engagement & boost morale.
Progressive experience as a HR Generalist, HR Business Partner and HR Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources Management preferred.
Experience working in a multi-national environment including US, EU and Canada.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexible and able to multi-task
A self-starting, high energy professional
Highly organized and detail oriented
Knowledge of cross-state reporting and employment laws.
Experience working in the technology and/or gaming industry.
Experience in Microsoft Office products.
Experience in Visio, Paycom, UKG, Confluence and, GSuite.
Ability to travel on occasion.
