Job Overview
Sewar Gallery is a luxury fragrance and lifestyle destination committed to providing customers with personalized service, strong product knowledge, and an elevated shopping experience.
We are seeking a confident and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will identify customers’ needs, recommend suitable products, and guide them through an efficient and enjoyable sales experience. The ideal candidate is professional, outgoing, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers as they enter the store
- Ask questions to understand each customer’s preferences, needs, and budget
- Provide personalized fragrance and product recommendations
- Guide customers through the sales process and confidently close sales
- Identify appropriate upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Develop strong knowledge of fragrance profiles, scent families, and product collections
- Explain product features, usage, and benefits clearly
- Process purchases accurately using the POS system
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displays
- Replenish merchandise and assist with inventory organization
- Provide efficient and professional service during busy periods
- Help create a welcoming and elevated in-store experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute consistently to Ridgeway Plaza in Mississauga
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident sales ability and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly understand customer needs and make suitable recommendations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Professional attitude and presentation
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred
- Fragrance or beauty retail experience is an asset but not required
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
