Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Journeyman/women Automotive Technician or 4th year apprentice to join our team.
Duties:
Diagnose engine, transmission, driveline concerns
Perform basic automotive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, suspension repair.
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components including engine, transmission, differential removal and replacement as needed.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and occasionally answering questions
Skills:
Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with automobiles is a must have
Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely
Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
Journeyman certificate or 4th year registered apprentice
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
ATV/UTV knowledge is an asset
