Must have asphalt raking experience
This role is for experienced asphalt rakers only. If you have not raked asphalt on a paving crew, please do not apply.
What you'll do
- Rake and spread hot mix asphalt behind the paver
- Hand-work edges, curbs, and tight areas with a lute rake
- Shovel and move asphalt to fill low spots and ramps
- Work alongside roller and paving crew to meet grade
- Keep work area clean and safe throughout the shift
Requirements
- Prior asphalt raking experience is mandatory — general labour experience is not sufficient
- Comfortable working with hot mix asphalt in all weather conditions
- Physically fit — lifting, bending, and raking for full shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Valid driver's licence an asset

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
