What You'll Do
As an IV Infusion Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate infusion therapy while helping patients feel supported every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer IV infusions safely and accurately according to physician orders and clinical protocols
- Monitor patient responses throughout treatment and ensure optimal comfort and safety
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion therapy
- Document patient care thoroughly using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs
- Partner closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes
- Maintain the highest standards of infection prevention, safety, and clinical excellence
- Manage infusion supplies and equipment to ensure readiness and compliance
- Contribute to personalized care planning for patients requiring ongoing or complex infusion therapies
- Help support continuous improvement initiatives as our organization continues to grow
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated nurse who is passionate about patient care, eager to learn, and excited to grow alongside our organization.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in IV infusion therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient assessment techniques
- Experience using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Cerner, or comparable platforms
- Knowledge of acute care, pain management, case management, and patient safety best practices
- Experience in hospital, clinic, home care, or community healthcare settings is considered an asset
- Familiarity with pediatrics, senior care, dementia care, or assisted living environments is beneficial
- Exceptional communication, patient education, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassion and professionalism
