Our team of nearly 60 teachers needs more piano teachers. Piano teachers, while fun and relatable, need also be properly educated and have a strong grasp of music theory.

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Piano teachers should possess a minimum of:
- University degree in music (or other professional training)
- Classical teachers benefit from RCM Grade 10 or higher. Modern Piano teachers benefit from post-secondary jazz or pop/rock training
- 2 years of prior experience working at a reputable music school in Canada is a major asset
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Warm and caring

- Experience working with younger children
- Infectious outgoing personality
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Additional experience working with children (camps, coaching etc) is an asset
AVAILABILITY
- Part-time applicants must have availability on at least TWO of the following days: Mondays to Fridays (afternoon and evening), Saturdays (morning and afternoon only). Full-time must be available to work at least 5 of the above shifts. Preference given to teachers who are able to teach on Wednesdays.
BONUS
- Preference will be given to applicants who include a cover letter expressing their love for teaching music to young children and indicating their current availability
Pay is dependent on an applicant having completed a University degree in music. We welcome non-university graduates at a rate of $25/hr.
