Quo Vadis Elementary School in Etobicoke is recruiting for the position of Primary / Junior Teacher.
Quo Vadis Elementary School is an independent Catholic day school that offers a fully trilingual English-Polish-French academic program.

Responsibilities and Duties:
· Responsible for activities associated with the successful delivery of the curriculum/program, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the program; and assessing the academic work of students,
· Developing students’ knowledge and skills in the assigned subject areas (English, Math, Science, and other subjects areas),
· Uphold Catholic values and integrate them into daily lessons and activities,
· Conduct student progress reporting,
· Recording and maintaining attendance registers, and report on attendance as required,
· Collaborating with the principal, other teachers, and parents in the best interest of student success and well-being,
· Performing other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications / Experience:
· Ability to plan and deliver high quality education to students,
· Understanding of Catholic education and values,
· Ability to guide students in character development, encouraging children to be independent and to respect themselves and others,
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to actively and positively interact with parents,
· Strong ability to teach mathematics at a primary/junior level,
· Strong ability to teach English language arts,
· Native-level fluency in English,
· Demonstrated teaching experience in a day school, private school experience an asset,
· Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or equivalent from another jurisdiction.
