Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism on the road.
Duties
- Operate water truck on construction sites and around the greater Calgary area. Possibly operate dump truck and/or fuel truck across various distances, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including gravel slips and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that arise during transport.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling freight.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Must be able to drive standard transmission 13, 15and/or 18 speed proficiently, do not apply if you can't
- Must have clean 3 year drivers abstract please do not apply if you cannot provide this document
- Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick resolution of minor vehicle issues.
- Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
- Also in winter months you will be expected to work on the snow removal crew, performing services at night and odd hours

Pay: $26.50-$35.00 per hour
