The Senior Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of assigned projects within budget, on schedule, in accordance with the approved scope and applicable government codes, all within established project methodologies.
The Senior Project Manager oversees the delivery of a program of projects and provides leadership to a team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Project Administrators.

Post-secondary certification or technology diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management with seven (7) years of relevant experience in the construction field;
Five (5) years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary team;
Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, building systems and terminology;
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blue prints, specifications and contracts;
Experience and in depth knowledge of procurement processes, laws governing construction contracts and contracting;
Excellent leadership abilities in the delivery of projects;
Excellent client service/management, interpersonal, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills;
Self-motivated, proactive and ability to multi-task;

Contract of approximately 36 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits will be determined upon hiring. This position is excluded from all union accreditation units.
