Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality massage therapy treatments tailored to each client's individual needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and sports massage techniques
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, preferences, and specific concerns
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure comfort and satisfaction
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments
- Ensure all treatment areas are clean, sanitized, and organized according to health and safety standards
- Keep detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care
Requirements
- Valid CMTO registration
- New grads welcome
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to health assessments and treatment planning
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain procedures, answer questions, and build rapport with clients.
- Must adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols related to massage therapy practice
