Rollstamp Manufacturing is an auto trim parts supplier to all of the major OEM's Rollstamp has Paintline, Stamping, Injection Moulding, Toolroom and assembly functions. Currently there are over 800 full time employees working at Rollstamp at multiple locations.

Major Responsibilities

1) Business Plan Goals:
Labour loss due to material shortage Targets

Visual Management Systems for Window Time delivery, Electronic Min/Max for Raw, WIP and FG etc.

MAFACT Targets

2) Demand Management and MRP:
Ensure MRP is run timely and demand reviewed (and corrected) for accuracy
Internal production and Ship Schedules are ACCURATE, updated timely and ready for Production and Shipping use daily
Supplier Release are ACCURATE and sent-out timely

3)Inventory Accuracy:
Review and sign–off on all new BOM’s
Perform an initial BOM Audit and “test” to verify consumption, location, w/c, dept, part description etc. is setup correctly. Keep log of test reports
Perform perpetual cycle counts and ensure all products are captured within the prescribed cycle
Perform immediate correction and proper investigation for excessive inventory variances. Keep log of all investigations and corrective actions

4) Materials Management – Suppliers:
Verify Suppliers Capacity Plans meets our requirements
Work with Production to establish Pkg Qty for each product
Work with Purchasing and Production to establish most reasonable delivery frequency
Train Suppliers to ship to our Electronic Min/Max
Track Supplier Delivery Score and hold under-performing Suppliers accountable for poor performance

6) Material Management – Internal (Visual Systems):
Window Time Deliveries for the Receiving Departments Electronically Displayed
Electronic Kanban for Raw, WIP and FG
Champion the daily “Electronic Kanban Review” Meetings
Window time shipments for the Shipping Department

7) Material Management – Customer (Customer Service):
Ensure shipment are made timely and ASN’s accurately transmitted
Ensure all Customer specific protocols are adhered to
Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with all Customers

8) Logistics:
Setup shunting schedules between 591 and manufacturing plants
Set up Logistics Plan for efficient flow of products between Suppliers and Rollstamp
Follow the Customer’s Logistic Plan for efficient flow of products between Customers and Rollstamp

9) Change Management:
Attend APQP meetings and lead your team to close-out tasks to pertaining to your dept. timely
Attend ECC/PCN meetings lead your team to close-out tasks pertaining to your dept. timely
10) Materials Management

Work with the Financial Controller to provide the appropriate reports required for “month end”
Lead the team to comply to C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) and PIP (partners in Protection) requirements
Lead and Support the teams to implement proper problem-solving techniques to root-cause and correct any Material Management issues
Attend and participate in the daily CARE (Operation’s) meetings
Report-out the Department KOI’s with corresponding action plans at weekly Focus Factory and monthly KOI meetings
Perform employee safety observations.
Comply with Section 27 of the OHSA.
Maintains work area according to the applicable Housekeeping Standards.
Knowledge and Education
 College Diploma or University Degree.
 Automotive manufacturing background and familiarity with Automotive MRP Systems required.
 Minimum of five years related experience and two years supervisory experience required.

Skills and Competencies

 Automotive manufacturing background and familiarity with Automotive MRP Systems required.
 Excellent knowledge of Purchasing, Supplier Performance, Production Scheduling, Paintline Scheduling and Inventory Control.
 Understanding of Core Tools (eg. SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA), in order to conduct internal audits as related to job description.
 A good understanding of production and engineering dynamics within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
 Familiarity with Personal Computers and Microsoft software.
 Excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills and English communication skills required (verbal and written).

Work Environment
Will be working in a manufacturing area. Trips into the plant may be required. Noise and temperature levels may vary. Proper PPE must be worn.
