Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Digital Die Cutting Label Operator for our label finishing press. This role involves operating advanced machinery to produce high-quality labels with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, possess mechanical aptitude, and be comfortable working with various equipment. Duties
- Operate digital die cutting and label finishing presses to produce custom labels according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machinery for different job runs, ensuring optimal performance and quality standards
- Monitor production processes, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform minor maintenance as needed
- Inspect finished labels for quality, accuracy, and consistency before packaging
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality goals
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or machining experience is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and diagrams
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols
- Prior experience with digital die cutting or label finishing presses is desirable but not required
