RFDM Solutions is a boutique marketing and technology consulting firm based in downtown Victoria. We create cutting edge digital marketing campaigns, websites, and custom software solutions for clients all over North America. We do this for industries as diverse as fashion, healthcare, cybersecurity, software as service, non-profit, venture capital, and satellite imaging. We are full stack marketing and sales technology experts, and our services include Digital Marketing and Marketing Automation, Website Development, CRM Solutions, and Custom Cloud Application development. What’s the job all about?
The role is a hybrid between a digital marketer and content curator. With respect to digital marketing, you’ll be working on a range of campaigns that run the full gamut of the digital marketing playbook, including paid search and display, account based marketing, SEO, email and content marketing, which will be driven through marketing automation and CRM cloud technology. On the content side, you will have a mix of creating copy for email newsletters, websites and supporting the marketing team with copy for landing pages, digital ads and producing captions for social media content where needed. Additionally, you would also need to be comfortable working directly with our clients to book meetings with the knowledge experts and write and create articles and then publish online with SEO.
What kind of skills and experience do you need to have?
The main technical skills we would need you to have is the ability to create and manage paid advertising campaigns in at least one or two major platforms (Google Search/Display, Facebook/IG, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc), some experience executing email marketing campaigns, some experience measuring campaign performance in Google Analytics, and a general comfort with learning new technologies rapidly.
In terms of other important skills, you would need to be comfortable speaking with and listening to clients, being responsible for delivering projects on a deadline, and for juggling more than one project at a time. It would also be great to hear from candidates with some experience working within CRMs such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Hubspot, etc.
With respect to experience, agency experience is preferred and it would be great to hear from candidates that have at least two to three years working in a similar role, but we are also willing to train the right candidate that can demonstrate that they are proficient in the above skill sets and are willing to commit to filling their gaps in knowledge through some rapid on the job training.

What’s the offer?
The role is full time, Mon-Fri, based on a standard 7.5 hour work day. The compensation offered will be based on your skills and previous work experience. We also offer a generous extended health plan, and three weeks paid vacation to start with opportunity to boost up to 4 weeks after completion of first year.
Our office is located out of Victoria, BC, and while our preference is to hire locally, we are open to candidates across Canada as we offer fully remote work. Those who live in Victoria will also have access to our downtown office should they wish to have an office space to go to.
