The Role: Diversity & Dynamics
One of the most unique aspects of this position is the diversity of the work. You won't be stuck in a single routine - instead, you will gain experience across two distinct high-volume operations:
- The Social Thirty-One Restaurant: Sharpen your skills in a fast-paced, high-end casual environment, focusing on precision, plating, and short-order excellence.
- Banquets & Events: Be a key player in our premier event kitchen, executing large-scale, high-quality menus for weddings, tournaments, and corporate galas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adaptable Execution: Seamlessly transition between the finesse of restaurant service and the high-volume coordination of our banquet kitchen.
- Station Excellence: Take full ownership of your station, from prep and organization to cleaning and breakdown.
- Collaborative Hustle: Work closely with the Chef and the rest of the line to navigate peak service times and large-scale event timelines smoothly.
- Technical Precision: Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and safety, regardless of the volume.
What You Bring
- Proven Experience: A solid background in a professional, fast-paced kitchen (experience in both restaurant and banquet settings is a major asset).
- Technical Skill: Strong knife skills and a deep understanding of various cooking techniques (grill, sauté, large-batch prep).
- Reliability & Energy: A positive attitude and the stamina to stay sharp in a dynamic, multi-service environment.
