Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Golf Course Maintenance team member with a minimum 2 yrs golf course experience to help maintain the pristine condition of our golf course. This role involves performing landscape and turf management tasks to ensure an enjoyable and visually appealing environment for our members and guests. The position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the course.
Responsibilities
- Mowing, edging, and trimming grass using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
- Performing irrigation system maintenance, including repairs and adjustments to ensure proper watering
- Pruning trees, shrubs, and other plants to promote healthy growth and maintain course
- Maintaining bunkers, greens, fairways, and rough areas with appropriate landscaping techniques
- Operating various landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Assisting with general gardening tasks such as planting, mulching, and seasonal clean-up
- Conducting routine inspections of course grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in landscape maintenance
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance best practices
- Experience with irrigation systems and troubleshooting related issues
- Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of course appearance
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of gardening techniques and turf management principles
