Senior Project Manager (1-year Contract)
We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager (1-year Contract) for our facility in Peterborough, ON.

Be responsible for a single, large design/build project with high visibility within the organization involving exciting first of a kind medical isotope retrieval technology.
Oversight of other project management staff including Project Manager, Scheduler, Project Assistant.
Provide leadership to ensure successful execution through established company procedures in relation to quality, schedule and cost.
Develop and maintain relationships with key partners/stakeholders with a focus on Ontario Power Generation.
Collaborate with functional leads, technical staff and other PM staff to develop overall project activities, tasks and resource needs, project management plan, risk register, and updates of dashboards to permit ongoing performance monitoring.
Proactively identify project risk, analyze solutions, and take decisive action to resolve issues.
Be responsible for overall project deliverables and managing multiple constraints associated with the various projects (schedule / budgets / scope and requirements).
Present and report on project status, metrics, issues, risks, and project resource needs to Senior Management, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor project health and performance indicators using earned value methodologies including CPI and SPI.
Work with Project Scheduling & Controls Specialists to ensure schedule integrity and quality.
Participate in coordinating / producing cost or schedule recovery / mitigation plans, as well as monitoring scope creep throughout the project life cycle.
Ensure compliance and adherence to processes and policy requirements.
Act as the key interface with external customers/stakeholders for project communication / reporting and interact with subcontractors, and cross-functional internal teams as necessary to execute projects.
Travel as necessary (mostly within the GTA, international travel may be required so candidate would need a Passport) – currently this is very limited.
Nuclear industry experience.
At least 10 years of Project Management experience and have a valid PMP.
Significant experience in large design/build contracts with high visibility and profile.
The ability to start within the next 2-3 weeks.
